Government has rolled back the plan after initially approving Rs800 million for the project

Some senior citizens of Hyderabad have requested Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to approve the establishment of Mehran Institute of Heart and Chest Diseases at Civil Hospital, Hyderabad. At a press conference on Wednesday, they deplored that the government has rolled back the plan after initially approving Rs800 million for the project and deciding to table a bill in the Sindh Assembly. Former justice (retd) Gul Moeen Shah, Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry vice-president Turab Ali Khwaja and other citizens addressed the press conference.
