Old enmity?: Two men gunned down in Larkana

SUKKUR: Two persons belonging to the Mirani community were gunned down by unidentified armed men near New Bus Terminal near Fatehpur situated in Waleed police limits in Larkana on Wednesday morning. Two cousins, Altaf Mirani and Haleem Mirani, were travelling on a motorcycle to court for the hearing of their case and when they reached near the bus terminal, four persons on two motorcycles opened fire on them and fled. Both the cousins died on the spot. Local police rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for post-mortem but no case was registered till the filing of this report. Police claimed that the murder was the outcome of an old enmity between two groups of the Mirani community.
