Combating terrorism: Chinese envoy lauds Pakistan efforts
Janjua told the envoy CPEC will be a milestone in further strengthening the bilateral relations
ISLAMABAD:
China’s envoy Sun Weidong lauded Pakistan’s efforts in combating terrorism and ensuring security of Chinese people on Tuesday. He added that these efforts will pave the way for increased economic activity in the region. He said this in a meeting with National Security Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Naseer Khan Janjua, according to a press statement. Janjua told the envoy CPEC will be a milestone in further strengthening the bilateral relations. Punjab’s home secretary also attended the meeting and briefed the envoy about the security measures taken up by the Punjab government for the security of Chinese working in the province.
