Extreme weather: Heavy rains kill two in Balochistan 

PDMA has issued warning to the people to avoid travelling between Quetta-Karachi, Ziarat, Chaman and Qila Abdullah

QUETTA: At least two people were killed and seven others sustained injuries in rain-related incidents in Balochistan.

Pakistan Meteorological Department on Monday said that the fresh spell of rains is caused by the western winds approaching the province from Iran.

The districts receiving rain include Quetta, Zhob, Sibi, Kalat, Kuchlak, Pishin, Khanozai, Huramzai, Ziarat, Killa Saifullah, Kanmehterzai, Mach, Sorab Mangochar, Dalbandin, Nushki and other parts of Balochistan. The high mountains in Quetta, Zhob and Kalat division received snowfall. PDMA has issued warning to the people to avoid travelling between Quetta-Karachi, Ziarat, Chaman and Qila Abdullah.
