Weight loss surgery is very much on the menu for those who can’t seem to lose the extra pounds through diet and exercise.

LAHORE: Junior doctors have also decided to jump into the controversy surrounding the use of unregistered cardiac stents at public hospitals by calling for the inclusion of government officers in the investigation.

The Young Doctors Association-Pakistan is all set to approach the Punjab chief minister, requesting him to include other government officials in the inquiry for digging out facts of the stents scam.

YDA General Secretary Dr Salman Kazmi told The Express Tribune the organisation would file the plea to include the chairman of Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) in the investigation. “Only registering cases against professors will not work, as the mafia cannot run its functions without the involvement of senior officials,” he said.

Salman called for questioning the DRAP officials for not making an official website with all the drugs prices.
