Bilawal asked on Saturday the PPP Sindh president and parliamentary leader Nisar Khurro to issue a show-cause notice to MPA Imdad Pitafi before an action.
The provincial assembly witnessed an outburst on Friday when Pitafi made affronting remarks against Nusrat Sehar Abbasi asking her to come to his assembly chamber.
"Please come to my chamber, I will tell you,” he said to Abbasi, repeating the same statement multiple times, in reply to a question.
“You should invite your mother and sister to your chambers, not me,” said Abbasi. She was in tears decrying the PPP's mindset of treating women as lesser beings.
Absolutely unacceptable behaviour, says Bakhtawar
Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari denounced Pitafi's insulting remarks, asking him to tender apology.
While responding to PPP's Nafisa Shah tweet, Bakhtawar said, "Yes, [he] must apologise. absolutely unacceptable behaviour and totally against ethos of our party that has been led by the strongest of women."
