Rehmat Aziz, a linguist from Chitral, had sent his advertisement to the Guinness Book of World Records claiming that his ad was the shortest in duration.

“My advertisement on peace was 00.01 seconds in length,” Chitrali told The Express Tribune. “It’s in the category of peace.”
Guinness Book of World Records in its return email confirmed reception of the request which if accepted will break the record of Tharanga Ramanayake whose video was 1/60th of a second.
“It’s a public service message for spreading peace through poetry, he said.
In 2014 Aziz developed a software that allows typing in 40 local languages.
The 47-year-old is an eminent poet, writer, linguist and researcher.
