The mayor said a facilitation centre was being set up in the city with the help of World Bank to facilitate the people in interacting with various government departments and agencies.
He said the accountability process to monitor the performance of officials had been initiated while campaign against cleanliness and encroachment was also underway.
Naveed maintained a list of 200 ghost employees working in Solid Waste Management had been prepared and action would be taken against them. He hinted at sealing shops and plazas for not removing encroachments outside their premises. He said he had already held consultations with traders' association before initiating crackdown against it.
In addition, the mayor had also prepared a strategy along with Parks and Horticulture Authority to beautify external gates of the city as well as launching tree plantation into open places and corner points in Multan.
