KARACHI: A young girl has registered a case with Gulshan-e-Maymar police against her colleague, Kamran Aziz, and his driver for pretending to be a senior police officer and threatening her after she rebuked his marriage proposal. “Aziz and his driver were threatening her while using the names of senior police officials,” said District Malir SSP Rao Anwar. “The complainant has also shared details of the threatening messages which confirmed that Aziz has been involved in such activities.” Both the girl and the accused work at a private company in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. Initially, the family accepted Aziz’s proposal but turned him down when they found out he had gotten married twice before. “He has been threatening her since,” said Gulshan-e-Maymar SHO Mir Lashari. Aziz is a resident of Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
