SHABQADAR: The Awami National Party on Monday urged the government to hold an All Parties Conference to come up with a mechanism to hear terrorism cases in court.

Chairing a party meeting at Wali Bagh, Charsadda, ANP leader Asfandyar Wali Khan said that the people of the federally administered areas demanded Fata’s merger in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and also wanted an allocation of national resources on the basis of census.

The party expressed concern over the former census and added that bogus statistics have deprived the region of its due rights in National Finance Commission.

ANP leadership also expressed concern over the deteriorating relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan. They said that a peace process should be initiated in the region.

The party also demanded early return of IDPs to their homes and their complete rehabilitation.
