On Monday, LHC Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah issued notices to the respondents while putting off the hearing until January 30. In the previous hearing, the court had directed the CPWB administration to fix irregularities pointed out by the petitioner, Advocate Sheraz Zaka, otherwise the court would do it on its own.
Sheraz argued that according to CPWB Service Rules 2010, the director should be a Grade-19 officer and belong to either the Punjab Management Services (PSM) or District Management Group (DMG). The current head of the CPWB is a Grade-18 officer from the information group, he added.
