KARACHI: Bollywood celebrities put their best foot forward at one of Indian cinema’s leading fashion extravaganzas – Filmfare Awards 2017. In all its glitz and glamour, the starry night saw B-town’s leading ladies clad in bold cuts, high-slit dresses and sheer gowns. But, the two style icons that won our hearts on the occasion were Parineeti Chopra and Shilpa Shetty.

The actor looked hot to trot in a golden high-slit gown designed by Manish Malhotra. Her off-shoulder pleated dress cinched at the waist with a brown belt, which highlighted her toned physique.

People should wear what they feel like wearing: Priyanka Chopra

Accentuating her fashion statement with long, golden Mehernosh Heeramaneck earrings, pointed gold-chained heels by Oscar de la Renta and a confident smile, Shetty’s look definitely stood out from afar. A half-tied updo and smokey eyes added the finishing touches.

The Kill Dil actor was dressed to kill on the occasion. The fuchsia pink strapless gown by Mark Bumgarner, with an oversized bow, definitely complemented her style. We love how she kept her hair straight and wore minimal accessories, maintaining the focus on the ensemble. Dangly pearl earrings and a candy pink pout completed her look. We give Parineeti full points for being able to carry a strapless number with such grace.
