Rangers claimed to have apprehended eight suspects, including four activists of a banned outfit, during raids in different parts of the city on Saturday.
The raids were conducted in North Karachi, Baldia Town and Liaquatabad areas, according to a press statement issued by the paramilitary force.
Eights suspects were arrested, read the statement, adding that four of them belonged to a banned outfit and two were affiliated with the militant wing of a political party.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from their possession, read the statement. The names of the suspects and the groups they were linked to were not disclosed in the statement.
