Karachi received its first spell of winter rain last week and temperatures dropped in the metropolis by three degrees Celsius during the day.

Rain-deprived Karachiites appeared to make the most of the weather as many made their way to Sea View while others thronged shops selling fried food items at Boat Basin, Hussainabad Food Street, Burnes Road and other popular food streets.

Here are some highlights from around the city.
