Weather Report: Twin cities expect rains from Sunday 

Meanwhile in the last 24 hours least temperature was recorded in Skardu at minus 13 degrees centigrade

ISLAMABAD: A fresh spell of rain is likely to drench the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad from Sunday the weatherman reported. According to the Met Office, widespread rains were expected in the country. “Another active westerly wave has entered the country through Balochistan on Friday,” an official at the Met Office said. The weather system, moving north-by-north-east, after dumping rain and snow in Balochistan was expected to reach Punjab by Sunday, he said. Rain, thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills was in Punjab, federal capital, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir from Sunday to Wednesday. Meanwhile in the last 24 hours least temperature was recorded in Skardu  at minus 13 degrees centigrade.
