Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Few things are more disheartening that watching plans or a vision of the future you believe in, and that you’ve worked hard to organise, come undone. While, ordinarily, you’d do all you can to get them going again, the issue is fundamental and, however much you try, really can’t be overcome.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

Sooner or later you’ll have to stand up to somebody who’s always been difficult but is now impossible. The real problem is, there’s no avoiding them, so you must find a strategy for dealing with them. Risky as it seems, try telling them how you feel, gently but firmly. It will do wonders.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

Just when you were wondering if all the fun has gone out of life, there’s a turn around for the better. And, bizarrely, they’ve emerged from what only recently seemingly impossible problems. Now that you’ve learnt more, it’s become clear these were breakthroughs, although in a form that you’d never have imagined possible.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

Obviously life would be easier if you could get others to recognise why certain plans will be of benefit to them. But they just can’t see it. The real problem is that you’re both anxious and impatient, so are eager to get them involved. Back off. They’re intrigued, but need time to think.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

Although, obviously, you weren’t alone in being influenced by the recent Full Moon, many of those around you seemed to struggle with changes more than you did. Actually, this was a rehearsal for the Leo Full Moon, in a month’s time and both emotions and events as exciting as they’ll be dramatic.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

What were minor differences of opinion only days ago have turned into bizarrely intense battles over the issues in question. While your impulse is to out-talk or outwit others, these are giving you a rare opportunity to learn something about certain situations and, even more, about yourself. You must, however, be patient.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

While it’s easy to blame every misunderstanding, problem and unexpected event on the retrograde Mercury, the recent cycle ended on the 8th. The difficulties you’re currently facing actually have to do with issues you’d sidestepped for fear of upsetting others. Address these frankly now, and they’ll vanish, possibly within minutes.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Nobody would blame you for regarding recent changes in arrangements you struggled to organise as unfair. However, the more you learn, the more you realise they weren’t just a good idea, they were necessary. So much so that you’ll soon exchange the feelings of aggravation you’re currently experiencing for gratitude.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

Once again, you’re battling certain practical restraints. These, signified by Saturn, which is in Sagittarius and remains there until nearly the end of the year, don’t come naturally to you. Still, consider what you’ve achieved since it moved into your sign, in 2015, and you’ll realise how much you’ve gained from dealing with them.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

Few Capricorns are bothered by criticism, or at least not unless it comes from those you respect. If that’s what you’re facing, don’t wonder what went wrong or worry. Ask the individual in question what’s behind their comments. You’ll relieve those doubts and will learn something valuable in the process.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

There are many ways to say the single word ‘no’, and currently, you’ll need to utilise them all. While in some situations you must be firm, in as many you need time to think, to learn more or, perhaps become better acquainted with the individuals involved before you try to finalise anything.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Important as honouring commitments to others is, don’t make the mistake of thinking that you can’t, and shouldn’t make necessary changes. During periods as unsettling as this one is, everybody has to rethink plans, including you. Should you need to rearrange things, apologise, then say exactly that and no more.
