Law and order: Rangers chief briefs Nisar on Karachi situation

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday assured that the federal government will fully support and provide every possible assistance to the Rangers in discharge of duties.

During a meeting with the Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh, Chaudhry Nisar appreciated the role of Rangers in improving the law and order situation in Karachi and the reduction in crime rate.

Major General Muhammad Saeed called on the interior minister in Islamabad and discussed the law and order situation in Karachi. DG Rangers briefed the minister on the situation in Karachi.

Nisar also congratulated DG Rangers on assuming responsibilities. Major General Mohammad Saeed was posted DG Rangers Sindh in December last year.
