Director Syed Noor's wife passes away

LAHORE: Lollywood director Syed Noor's wife Rukhsana Noor passed away in Lahore this afternoon.

She was 58 years old. Rukhsana had been battling cancer for 15 years. She had even gone to the United States for treatment, where she lived with one of her daughters. Rukhsana had three daughters and one son with Noor. Details about the funeral are yet to be shared.



Rukhsana was a journalist and had also taught across various Punjab varsities. She had later launched a production house. Rukhsana wrote several songs and scripts for hit films such as Noor's Choorian. She began living separately from him after he married Lollywood star Saima but chose not to divorce him.
