150,000 scholarships awarded by PEEF

Rs17 billion have been allocated for brilliant and deserving students under the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund

BAHAWALPUR: As many as 150,000 students studying various disciplines across the province have been awarded scholarships amounting to Rs7.5 billion.

Provincial Minister Cooperative Malik Iqbal Channar said that the provincial government has allocated Rs17 billion for brilliant and deserving students under the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF).He added that scholarships to 4,232 PEEF scholars would be provided in Bahawalpur.
