Speaking at the inauguration of the website for K-P Directorate of Human Rights he stated that the provincial government had passed 123 laws and was committed to implementing them.
He said that people would now be able to file their complaints online and would also inquire about the application’s status on internet.
He however stressed upon locals, civil society and organisations working for human rights to spread the message so that more people could come forward and their issues were resolved at the earliest.
Law and Parliamentary Affairs Secretary Muhammad Arifeen stated that the website will help create awareness among the general public about their rights and at the same time about a forum which will ensure their rights were protected.
