Barrister Abid Waheed Sheikh, the managing director of PMB, told The Express Tribune that a separate sum of Rs50,000 would also be given to Nusrat for her daily expenses. Sheikh said according to his knowledge Nusrat had a stroke and the doctors at the hospital have started treating her.

“As soon as I learnt about her illness and other dilemmas, I announced Rs1 million for her treatment besides awarding her Rs50,000 in financial assistance. Now she has been admitted to CMH and she is getting the treatment she requires,” said Sheikh.
Nusrat shot to fame during the 1990s by playing the role of Bil Batori in Ainak Wala Jinn. However, after the serial ended the actor has struggled to make ends meet.
