Karo-Kari: Two women gunned down for ‘honour’

SUKKUR: Two women were gunned down on the pretext of karo-kari in the katcha area of Bahal Bhayo police limits, district Shikarpur, on Friday night. According to the police, Lal Muhammad Jatoi suspected that his cousin, Mai Razul wife of Asadullah Jatoi, was having an affair with Ali Bux Jatoi. On Friday, while Razul was preparing food, the suspect pulled out a pistol and opened fire on her. Razul’s aunt, Hanifan wife of Abdul Sattar Jatoi, rushed to her rescue and was also shot. Both women died on the spot and the accused fled. Police claimed that Ali Bux Jatoi has also fled.
