With arms wide open: PQM invites other parties to rally
Iqbal Kazmi wants all political parties to attend the rally and assemble under the Pakistani flag

The Pakistan Qaumi Movement (PQM) has invited almost all mainstream political parties, including Muttahida Qaumi Movement - Pakistan and Pak Sarzameen Party, to join its rally on January 21. A statement issued on Saturday read names of Farooq Sattar, Mustafa Kamal, Afaq Ahmed, Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi, Sirajul Haq, Tahirul Qadri, Chaudhry Shujaat and others as invitees.
The PQM chairperson Iqbal Kazmi told The Express Tribune he wants all political parties to attend the rally and public gathering and assemble under the Pakistani flag in a bid to express solidarity for a national cause. The pro-Altaf Hussain of group of MQM has already expressed its willingness to join the event and have asked its supporters to attend it as well.
