The judge sent Shahbaz and Naveed to the Jhelum district jail on judicial remand for 14 days.
It is worth mentioning that Uzma, a doctor by profession, was settled in Germany. She had come to Pakistan with her husband and two children in mid-December.
The couple were reportedly having a dispute over a joint account, which the doctor wanted separated.
The victim, according to police, was invited by her husband to a friend’s home to resolve the issue. However, during a heated argument she was shot dead by a pistol belonging to Naveed.
