RTA fines 30 vehicles over violation

Action taken against vehicles violating the laws

FAISALABAD: The Regional Transport Authority, in a drive against overloading, imposed a fine of Rs73,000 on 30 vehicles in Faisalabad on Thursday.

Officials said 11 other vehicles were also impounded at police stations. The checking team led by RTA Secretary Asif Noul checked vehicles on National Highway and took action against vehicles violating the laws. Earlier, more than 1,000 e-tickets were issued to vehicle owners.
