KOHISTAN:
Police and local people on Wednesday managed to retrieve bodies of two people from the wreckage of a pick-up van that had fallen in to a ravine near Trais Banda checkpoint earlier in the night. According to police, a trader Feroz Taj and driver Shahid were hauling supply of groceries from Shangla for sale in Dasu the other day. However, when they reached near the Trais Banda police post, the driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a blind turn and it swerved off the road plunging hundreds of feet below into a gorge killing both of them. The bodies were recovered on Wednesday morning when some policemen spotted grocery items littered around the road and ravine.
