Appointment: Saifullah new Honorary Consul General of Turkey

Saifullah's priority to further strengthen cultural and religious ties between Pakistan and Turkey.

PESHAWAR: Senator Salim Saifullah Khan was made the new Honorary Consul General of Turkey here on Saturday. Khan said his priority will be to further strengthen the existing strong cultural and religious bonds between the people of Pakistan and Turkey.

Speaking at an official ceremony, Khan said he will endeavour to explore avenues for joint ventures of Pakistan and Turkey for the economic stability and prosperity of our country.

He said we should learn and benefit from the experience and success of Turkey, a country that recovered from various problems and developed into a strong economy. Earlier, Turkish Ambassador Mustafa Babur handed over the exequatur Khanm making him the new Honorary Consul General.
