Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan on Monday urged the British government to play its due role in resolving long-standing Kashmir issue. Khan had met with member of British Parliament Mirza Khalid Mahmood at the Kashmir House in Islamabad on Monday, Radio Pakistan reported. Masood said that Indian Occupied Kashmir remains an unfinished agenda of the Partition plan and called upon the international community to pressurise India to implement UNSC resolutions. He added that Indian security forces have usurped the fundamental rights of Kashmiris by engaging in massive human rights violations in the disputed valley. On this occasion, the AJK President also appreciated Mahmood’s efforts for highlighting Kashmir issue in British and European Parliaments.
