Regional pivot: Kabul peace holds key to stability, NSA

The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and the regional security situation

ISLAMABAD: ISLAMABAD. National Security Adviser (NSA) Lt Gen (retd) Nasser Khan Janjua on Friday said that peace in Afghanistan was a prerequisite for stability in the South Asian region. “Pakistan shares a vision of a prosperous future with Afghanistan and is contributing by all possible means to support the peace process in Afghanistan,” he said while discussing Pakistan-Afghanistan relations with British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew. According to a statement issued by the Press Information Department, the two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and the regional security situation. our correspondent
