Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's fame transcends boundaries.

Aly Malik, a die-hard Dubai-based Pakistani fan of the actor has a unique gift for his favourite star on the occasion of his 51st birthday, reported Khaleej Times.

Malik has bought a Dubai number plate bearing Salman's birth date '27/12' under the 'S' series, to express his fondness for the star on his special day.

The fan wishes Salman will use the number plate worth AED11,400 and later sell it to raise money for Dubai Cares and Khan's charity organisation Being Human.

"Salman's Being Human is what inspires me. In fact, I still remember when I heard about the brand and its cause for the first time. I went to the store and purchased Being Human t-shirts in bulk. I also wish that he autographs those t-shirts for me so I can sell them and raise money for charity."

He added, "I was in modelling before becoming an entrepreneur. When I was a model, I used to give all my income to my mother who used to donate it to the needy people. So I was always into charity. As soon as the R series number plate came into existence, I was sure that the S series number plate with four digits will be out soon. Since then I was constantly following up with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) for this particular number plate."

Malik met Salman a few years ago when he was waiting for his car. Back then, he told the star that some of his favourite Salman movies included Partner and Wanted.
