Caring for police: CDA to allot additional land to NPA

CDA would also help complete the stalled work on the auditorium at NPA

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation Mayor and Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Sheikh Anser Aziz said on Monday that the authority is considering a request to allot additional land for the National Police Academy in the capital. While visiting the Academy on Monday, Mayor Aziz also assured the NPA administration that their address problems would be addressed without delay. “We salute the martyrs who graduated from NPA, and the entire nation acknowledges the service of National Police Academy,” Aziz said during the visit. He further said that the academy was a national asset with its graduates helping improving security in the country. “The engineering wing of CDA would work to complete projects at the NPA at the earliest, including the construction of a sports complex,” he said, adding that roads leading to the academy would also be improved.  Moreover, he said CDA would also help complete the stalled work on the auditorium at NPA and help resolve the water security issue.
