Mahira defends Aisha Khan as Instagram post spectacularly backfires

This one's a real class act

It is commonly asserted that two female actors cannot be on the best of terms. Well, if this development is anything to go by, such a claim is pure bunkum.

Lifestyle magazine Something Haute recently posted a photo of Aisha Khan on Instagram with the caption, “Kudos to Aisha Khan for delivering such an impactful and poignant performance in #KhudaMeraBhiHai. We could have never imagined - having seen her in Jawani Phir Nahi Ani and MannMayal - that she is such a terrific actress."

Consequently, many Instagram users left comments admiring the actor’s work. And, among them was none other than Raees leading lady Mahira Khan. “You must watch some of her stuff, she’s so so good. Watch Vasl, there was another one with Humanyun I’m forgetting the name,” the Bin Roye star said.

In response to the magazine’s comment, Aisha Khan wrote, “Lol! ‘Never have imagined’ …. u clearly haven’t seen enough of her work! But … thanks I guess.”  She later added, “A compliment wrapped in an insult is not a compliment…. A proper blogger would know that.”





Appreciating Mahira, she wrote, “Thank you so much….there is a reason why everyone loves you as much as they do including me. Ure beautiful….inside out….a true star! <3”





In September, Mahira showed the world how to shut down trolls after a user rapped her for working in India. “Apko India se abhi danday nahi paray,” the man wrote.  “Aap ko apni ammi say parhe hotay toh iss tara ki bakwaas nahi kehte,” pat came the reply from Mahira.
