Sufi festival organised for patients
We invited ordinary people as chief guests because they are our real heroes

Christmas gifts worth Rs1 million were distributed among 100 Christian patients of thalassemia at the Christmas Sufi Festival organised at the Multan Arts Council in collaboration with the Express Media Group on Sunday.
Three ordinary men who were chief guests on the occasion, included Baba Mithu, 69, who is working at the Multan Development Authority as a labourer, Naimat Ali Ansari who is working as a Muezzin (a person who delivers call to prayer) at the same mosque for the last 59 years and an 81-year-old hawker, who has been selling newspapers for 61 years.
Nasir Mahmood Sheikh from Express Newspaper said, “We invited ordinary people as chief guests because they are our real heroes. Express had introduced a new trend by inviting ordinary people as chief guests.”
Express Media Group Associate Director Saif ul Azam Khan said they have always played a positive role in the development of society.
