Fake Facebook Profile: FIR sought against four suspects  

Sister a received friend request on Facebook from younger sibling, despite not having an account

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions’ judge sought comments from the FIA director on a petition against four people, including a woman, for allegedly operating a fake Facebook profile. Petitioner Muhammad Imran told the court that his elder sister a received friend request on Facebook from the younger sibling, despite the latter not having an account on the social media site. He said the family was astonished to see the fake ID and found forged nude pictures of his younger sister. He claimed that Khobab, Uzma, Qamar and Zafar were operating this ID as his family was involved in a legal battle with the accused. The petitioner said he approached the FIA, but was not cater to. He requested the court order the FIA director to register an FIR against the suspects for creating a fake ID and posting doctored pictures of his sister.
