Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

No sign is better at dealing with the unexpected than an Aries. Which means that while you may be scrambling to get things reorganised, others will be discussing what they could do. Irritating as that is, you’re probably better off dealing with everything yourself. At least you’ll know exactly what’s been done.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

When your ruler Venus moved to accent various crucial decisions, on 7 December, both circumstances and your priorities seemed fairly straightforward. Since then, however, it’s become clear you’ve far more options than you realised. Continue to explore these, and in depth. Urgent as those decisions may seem, they can and should wait.

Gemini | May 20 – June 19

Ordinarily, when your ruler Mercury is retrograde and things go wrong, you’d deal with those issues as swiftly as possible. Now, however, seemingly minor difficulties could lead to unexpected discoveries or even new and rather wonderful ideas. Make a point of exploring them in depth. You’ll soon be compensated for your efforts.

Cancer | June 20 – July 21

Watching others organise their plans for the upcoming year is exciting. However, you’re envious, mostly because you’re confused about your priorities. Actually, that no surprise now, in the run up to the Cancer Full Moon, in mid-January. For now, focus on exploring your options. Solid decisions and specific arrangements can wait.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

Dealing with practical issues is one thing. Usually that’s a matter of gathering the necessary facts. The mood of others involves something else entirely, both in terms of defining the issues, then seeking out a solution. This requires patient discussion and, of equal importance, a fair amount of intuition.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

Planning ahead may be a virtue. But no amount of investigation or organisation could anticipate the amazing ideas, offers or events coming your way over the next few days. In fact, this cycle may already have begun. For now, focus on exploring absolutely everything. You’ll make decisions, but not for a while.

Libra | September 22 – October 21

Few things are more difficult for a Libra than saying a firm, and non-negotiable ‘no’ to somebody or in regard to an idea or offer. Yet, while you’re aware certain situations won’t work out, you still haven’t refused them. This, in turn, means they’re distracting you from those with far more promise.

Scorpio | October 22 – November 20

Generally you’re right to be wary of Ideas or offers that seem too good to be true. While, usually, they’re exactly that, judging by the current stunning planetary activity, they could be even better than they seem. Knowing that, instead of holding back or being cautious, explore absolutely everything. You won’t regret it.

Sagittarius | November 21 – December 20

It’s easy to view the unexpected events and errors typical of Mercury’s retrograde cycle, into dramas. But, bizarrely, those that are least expected and, quite possibly, most disruptive in the short term could, when you look back on them, turn out to be exactly the breakthroughs you’ve been needing.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 19

While your ruler Saturn is central to the coming days’ stunning planetary activity, it’s so powerful it will influence everybody in some way. Consequently, others may receive offers or, possibly, come up with ideas that involve you. Explore absolutely everything. As you learn more, you can refine those offers and ideas.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 18

Whatever the nature of the situation, large or small, personal or out in the world, details aren’t just important, they’re crucial. Yet with the ideas planet Mercury retrograde, sudden changes and unexpected revelations could mean rethinking everything. The solution? Simply ensure that both your ideas and the plans you make are flexible.

Pisces | February 19 – March 19

Certain plans are clear in your mind, so much so that it’s easy to imagine how they’ll unfold. Yet judging by the alliance between Mars and your ruler Neptune on 1 January, your perspective and priorities are changing, and will even more. Knowing that, regard all existing arrangements as tentative.
