From the heartwarming proposal in the city of love, Paris, and the renewal of vows at Badshahi mosque, to the couple gracing the red carpet at their wedding reception, the fairytale nuptial is finally over.

At the reception, the bride wore a stunning off-shoulder nude gown designed by Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY). Although one would not expect a celebrity bride opt for a plunging neckline, Urwa appeared pretty daring.
Everything you need to know about Urwa-Farhan's grand reception
In true HSY style, the bodice was narrowed at the waist and showed how long sleeves can balance a modern silhouette. While the trousseau comprised oyster and grey silk embroidery sprinkled with sequins and crystals, the overall effect was a subtle sophistication.
We feel, if Urwa had chosen a more traditional and bright-coloured trousseau, it would have been more appropriate and would have soaked richly in tradition and culture.

Talking to The Express Tribune, HSY said, “Urwa was very clear about what she wanted. The color, the off-shoulder and the sheer lining at the stomach were all she had wanted from the get go. The key is to listen to your client and after all it was their big day!”
The bride chose a simple yet elegant diamond and emerald necklace with matching earrings that evoked grace and accentuated her beauty.
A sneak peak into Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed's first dholki
Farhan Saeed
The groom played it safe yet looked dapper. Farhan cut a fine figure in a two-piece suit, classic double button with peak lapels in a navy-blue colour by Republic.

Since the wedding was their opportunity to show off their 'couple style', it should have been a joint effort to match the colour contrast, which did not work in this case. Though Farhan knew how to clean up good, he could have indulged in a little more male objectification, such as a nicely tailored classic black tux with a white shirt and bow tie, which would definitely have made a statement.
Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed finally tie the knot
Farhan could have made a better choice in his tie and pocket square, using a solid colour or embossed one-tone tie, which is more formal and dressy. Multi-colored stripes and dots are not supposed to be worn on one’s own wedding!
Here’s wishing the couple all the best as they embark on this wonderful union.
