After Pakistan's Chaiwala comes India's Biryaniwala

The latest Pakistani sensation Arshad Khan, better known as  Chaiwala, has ruled social media through 2016. His intense, striking blue eyes have been noticed across the world. Now, India has offered some tough competition in Majid Khan, a Biryaniwala living in New Dehli, reported Hindustan Times.

Usually called ‘Chotu’, Majid was not used to all the attention he received  from the reporter who spotted him at the stall. Despite his good looks and physique, he turned out to be incredibly shy.



The 23-year-old is the only breadwinner in his family and earns a sum of merely INR 7,000, which he sends back home.

Majid was not easily convinced when reporters asked him to pursue modelling. He was unwilling to believe that he could make it in the industry. “I don’t know anything about modeling. You can ask me about biryani,” said Majid.



Upon insistence, Majid decided to give modelling a go. He was then groomed, given a new haircut, although he nervously refused to put any sort of makeup on his face.

As any newcomer, Majid was initially very hesitant to come in front of the camera and could not pose properly. However, once he understood how to strike a pose, he gave perfect shots.
