Jagga Jasoos trailer takes you on a magical journey

The first trailer of Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif is going to transport you to a world full of dreams.

The visually appealing trailer is a mix of several Disney flicks, taking us on a whimsical ride Bollywood has never offered before.



It begins with Ranbir beatboxing and as the trailer progresses, we get a glimpse into his childhood, when his father walks away from him, leaving him upset. We then see Ranbir as a grown up man who is joined by Katrina as they travel around the world.



 



Ranbir’s nerdy avatar, complete with a green sweater and big glasses, is reminiscent of Danielle Radcliffe’s Harry Potter.



The two minutes and 45-second-long trailer showcases the chemistry between Katrina and Ranbir as they are seen running across lush green hill tops, African savannas, well-guarded military base camps and corn fields.



Interestingly, there are no dialogues in the trailer and so, it doesn't give away much of the film's storyline but it does manage to grab your attention with its bright colours and the expressions delivered by the seasoned lead actors.





Due to its quirkiness,  Jagga Jasoos also bares subtle resemblance to Ranbir's film Barfi, but we'll have to wait and see how it turns out when it releases in cinemas on April 7, 2017.
