Houbara bustard hunting: UAE minister’s convoy attacked (Islamabad city – brief)

QUETTA: The convoy of the UAE interior minister’s Houbara bustard hunters came under attack in the Guchak area of Panjgur on Monday. The convoy had come under attack from armed men on five motorcycles and had surrounded them. However, FC personnel and other security men retaliated forcing the attackers to flee. The area was cordoned off and the convoy was taken to its camp. According to Panjgur’s Assistant Commissioner Abdullah Khosa only two vehicles of the convoy were damaged and the hunters were unhurt. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
