Daring Escape: Suspected robber jumps into canal

LAHORE: A suspected robber jumped into the BRB Canal in Batapur to avoid arrest on Monday. Police claimed two robbers were fleeing on a motorcycle after committing a robbery. They were signalled to stop by policemen but one of them managed to flee while the other jumped into the canal. A rescue team reached the site and started searching but the suspect was not found till the filing of the report.
