Heinous act: Alleged rapist of minor boy still at large

ABBOTTABAD: Nearly a week after a minor boy was sexually assaulted, his alleged rapist was still at large. According to Mangal police, a nine-year old boy F* had gone to the Yasir Khan’s store in Banda Pir Khan Village to buy some food items. The shop owner, however, allegedly raped him. After a medical examination confirmed the offense, a criminal case was filed against Khan under section 377 of the PPC. However, nearly a week after the act, police have yet to apprehend the suspect. Incidentally, this was the sixth case of sodomy reported from different parts of Abbottabad district from January to December 2016.
