Autumn colours: Three-day flower show kicks off

University holds such events that provide an opportunity to showcase the idea of creativity

FAISALABAD: The University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Tuesday opened a three-day Annual Chrysanthemum and Autumn Flower Show. The event was arranged by Institute of Horticulture Sciences, UAF.

The flower show attracted the locals who visited the varsity to witness autumn flowers.

The flowers with beautiful shades mesmerised the nature lovers.

Dozens of species of different flowers were arranged by university students and other organisations.

The show was inaugurated by UAF Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan while others also accompanied him.

While speaking to the participants, UAF vice-chancellor said the flowers give us a message of love and peace.

He said we had to spread the fragrance of brotherhood, respect and work collectively for the uplift of our country. He said the university holds such events that provide an opportunity to showcase the idea of creativity in flower arrangements.
