Nationalist Zakir Bozdar found dead
He was picked up by unidentified plain-clothed men on Dec 3

Nationalist Zakir Bozdar was found dead on Saturday morning. He was the Ghotki chapter president of Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz and was picked up by plain-clothed men from Hashim Bozdar village on December 3.
The body, wrapped in a cloth, was found at a taxi stand situated near Degree College Ghotki. The police shifted the body to taluka hospital Ghotki, where a large number of people, including the deceased's relatives, gathered.
Shia leader shot dead in Sahiwal
As soon as the body was handed over to the relatives after postmortem, they carried it to the Ghotki police station and staged a sit-in, while shouting slogans against the police. Later, Ghotki SHO Abbas Bajwah held negotiations with the protesters and claimed that the police were not involved in Zakir's kidnapping and murder. After the clarification, the protest ended and the nationalist leader was buried in a graveyard in his native Mathelo Momal Ji Mari.
Bozdar, along with his elder brother, Akhtar Bozdar, nephew, Khalid Bozdar, and cousin Abdul Hakeem, was picked up from their village by men in plainclothes men. However, the captors released Akhtar, Khalid and Abdul Hakeem.
Tragic End: Man found dead
Akhtar had filed a constitutional petition with the Sindh High Court's Sukkur bench against the kidnapping of his brother and the hearing was fixed on December 14.
Three years ago, Zakir was picked up from Degree College Ghotki by unidentified men in plain clothes and was released after six months of captivity.
