Strict surveillance: ‘Foolproof security being provided to foreign engineers’

BAHAWALPUR: It is our first priority to provide foolproof security to foreign engineers who are working on Quaid-e-Azam Solar Power Project and other schemes in the district.

This was said by Bahawalpur DPO Ashfaq Ahmad Khan during a meeting with Chinese Engineers’ Representative Chi and others regarding the security arrangements on Friday.

Ashfaq said, “In light of government’s directions, provision of security to engineers working on such projects was a great honour for us.” He added security of all the locations and installations was being ensured while monitoring and surveillance of sensitive locations was being undertaken round-the-clock .

He pointed out that Quaid-e-Azam Solar Power Project holds importance as it would play a vital role in the development of the district.
