Neelum jhelum hydro power project: Project to be operational by Dec 2017

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly Standing Committee on Planning, Development and Reforms meeting was apprised on Thursday that the Neelum Jhelum Project would be operational by December, 2017. The committee, which met at the office of the Neelum Jhelum Hydro Power Project (NJHPP) Muzaffarabad (AJK) Chief Executive Officer, was directed that all efforts should be made to complete the project in line with the given time frame. The meeting of the committee was held under the chairmanship of MNA Abdul Majeed Khan Khanan Khail. The committee visited different sites of the NJHPP and monitored the physical progress of the project.
