Joint exercises with China will help eliminate terrorism from region: COAS

Army chief General Qamar Bajwa has said that joint exercises between Pakistan and China will help eliminate terrorism from the region.

The COAS made these remarks while witnessing the concluding events of Pak-China exercise, Warrior-4 at the National Counter Terrorism Training Centre (NCTC), Pabbi on Thursday, the ISPR said.



Gen Qamar said sharing of best experiences through a series of exercises had improved counter-terror combat skills of both Chinese and Pakistani troops.

Appreciating the interest of friendly countries in such training events, the army chief said Pakistan Army will continue to offer training services for defeating terror.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chinese military commander paid his gratitude to Pakistan Army for organising the training.
