Shooting outside girls' college Mardan leaves one dead

One student lost her life and 19 others were injured as a result of an attack in Girls College.

MARDAN:

One student lost her life and 19 others were injured Tuesday as a result of an attack in Girls College Mardan.

The third year students had arranged a party for the students of fourth year in Government Girls College Lond Khor in Sher Garh locality.

Armed men attacked the party throwing hand grenades and opening fire at the students. Twenty students and a bystander were injured. A student named Sahar Mardan later died of her injuries.

The other students have been taken to Lond Khor hospital and Mardan Medical Complex. Police have started a search for the attackers.

The college is situated in the congested area of Shergarh, which is also located on the main route from Peshawar to Swat.

It is not yet clear whether the college authorities had received any threats.

The girls who go to school there bring Pakistan pride but the killers of these students only bring shame to their cause and the foreign agencies that pay them. Pakistanis have become united in opposing these criminals and terrorists who want to hurt innocent children and women.

These hypocratic leaders who saw Gandhi bigger and really leader then them as a threat and insult, tried to homogenize this country in the name of a religion (which infect is an arab colonization) and hence bleeded her and are bleeding her, i hope we stop this then letting her to bleed to death. She is a beautiful country of very beautiful Sindhi, Pashtoon, Punjabi and Balochs and let her be their country, not that of the arabs

This is another sickening attempt by the religous terrorists to intimidate the girls to prevent them from getting an education & learning about the world. Oppression & suppression of women is a hallmark of our society.We like to keep our girls under our feet as we feel that girls by birth are inferior to us & we do all we can throughtout our life to keep the status quo intact.
