12th Rabiul Awwal: ‘Maintaining peace is our first priority’

The RPO said maintaining law and order during Rabiul Awwal was their top priority

BAHAWALPUR: Regional Police Officer Bahawalpur Muhammad Idrees Ahmad has issued instructions to maintain peace and foolproof security arrangements on 12th Rabiul Awwal. He issued these directives during his visit to different procession routes in Bahawalpur on Wednesday.  On the occasion, he directed the officials to conduct search and technical sweeping of all the locations, under construction buildings and other installations. He added people participating in the processions should be physically searched while cars, tractor trolleys and motorcycles should be allowed after complete checking. He maintained CCTV cameras should also be installed while special cards should be issued to the volunteers so that they could be identified. The RPO said maintaining law and order during Rabiul Awwal was their top priority.
