Search Operation: 57 suspects detained in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: At least 57 suspects were apprehended during a search operation launched by Islamabad Police on Tuesday. According to details, combing operations were conducted in various areas of the capital. At least 57 suspects were detained and were shifted to the relevant police stations for further investigations. Moreover, during snap checking, police said they had impounded 240 bikes and seven cars which did not have valid documents. Police also apprehended seven professional beggars. Meanwhile, Bhara Kau police said they had arrested a thief, identified as Mansoor Akhtar. The Industrial area police said they had nabbed Rehan for having a 12 bore gun. Khanna police arrested three people including Faiz, Hafeez and Bilala with each of them carrying a 30 bore pistol. Nilore police, officials said, apprehended Umair Aziz for carrying a 9 mm pistol.
