American author Janie Johnson became the 'centre of attraction' on social media after tweeting London has become Islamic.

What followed was an uproar filled with sarcasm, hilarious retorts and taunts targeted towards her and her ignorance.

“My friends just returned from London. Shocked. Hadn't been in 20 years. Said London is gone - all Islamic,” she tweeted on Monday.

As if this was not enough, when one of her followers said that the States should not let it happen to America, she said England let their culture be ‘erased’.

The users from all over the world – majorly Britishers – tried to substantiate her claim – rather humorously.

Many remarked that London’s skyline has now been changed and started look ‘Islamic’. This is how:

Historic buildings were also taken over by religious zealots:

Londoners have changed their lifestyle and appearance as well:

Now Johnson should think twice before making unauthentic, insubstantial claims and tweeting them to thousands of her followers.
